My wife and I spent the night on our way back home. It was a perfect place to stop. We wished we had more time.
This was a sweet and simple space. It was great for an overnight. I tucked my tent under some trees and missed most of the rain. I didn’t see the fire pit until I walked around, so if you’re staying here either don’t set up within the first 100 feet or just know around the rectangle there is a pit.
Ashley was super accommodating with our last minute request that was pretty late in the evening. I reached out initially after 5 PM and we didn’t arrive until a bit after 9. Her directions were spot on and, even in the dark, we had no trouble making our way down to the campsite. Big open beautiful fields. I was a bit worried our non-4x4 campervan might get stuck as there are a couple hills and it rained a bunch but we had no trouble at all. Definitely will be a go to spot when driving down I5.
Ashley and her family are the most gracious, accommodating, and kind hosts!!
Her campsite was booked on our date and she made accommodations for us to have a wonderful camp spot on her land. I will be staying here more often!
Hip camp done right!
Thank you!!

To say this stay exceeded expectations would be an understatement! From our arrival to our departure, Ashley was helpful and courteous, and we lacked for nothing. We enjoyed a wonderful quiet night under the stars and would highly recommend again. It was a wonderful first Hipcamp experience!

This was a nice, private place for my family to stay for the weekend. It was a real benefit to have running water! I wish we could have made a fire in the firepit, but a burn ban was in effect.
A great campsite all around. Secluded and peaceful. All day shade along the tree line. Drinking water at the campsite was a big plus. Pretty much fully fenced field so our dogs could explore a huge area without us having to worry about where they might escape to. And Ashley was a wonderful host! Easy to communicate with and super helpful. We'll definitely be back!
