Lakeside Off Grid Bunkie
My husband, our pup and I spent the Family Day weekend at the cabin and we a lovely time! Jessica keeps a very well-stocked cabin with all of the amenities, including a 5-gallon jug of potable water, which was more than enough for drinking and washing up over our two-night stay. The cabin was very clean and tidy, and easy to keep warm with the wood stove. The cabin is a short walk from the main house, and the hosts are very accommodating about providing additional wood and kindling, should you need it. If you stay in the winter, I highly recommend that you heed Jessica’s advice and bring your snowshoes—they are a lifesaver on the walk in and out, and there are lovely trails around the cabin to explore! I highly recommend this cabin for a weekend getaway in the woods.

Cutest little get away perfect for some alone time or with a friend or two ! Peaceful and quiet, with the best hosts ! Couldn’t recommend this spot enough !! Easy to keep warm and cozy and go on some adventures!

The cabin and hosts were amazing! Really well-kept space, and way better stocked than I've come to expect from other sites I've stayed at. The location on the lake is gorgeous (I had a chance to stay during the winter, and I imagine it's just as gorgeous in the summer and fall), and being only 15 minutes up the road from Algonquin is amazing for the price paid! Well located for other day trips in the area and into Quebec if you're up to it.
The stove inside is awesome, and kept the cabin almost too hot overnight. Very cozy environment, and quite spacious for one or two guests! The sun goes down early here in the winter, so bring a lamp and a book!
The hosts were incredibly kind and gracious folks. They even helped me out when I accidentally locked myself out in the middle of the night!!! Don't be a dummy like me and make sure the door lock isn't engaged before you leave.

Private Tent Camping Spot
Perfect site, personable hosts!
Great location and amazing hosts! Definitely 10/10 all around! Private, secluded and pretty much all the nature one can look for, from setting up a hot tent to an on-site bunkie - campers of all comfort levels will enjoy. Looking forward to a 2nd adventure! Oh yeah the hospital is close, if you cut yourself with an axe as I did! 🤣

Private Tent Camping Spot
Tenting, trails, and a toddler!
What an amazing spot for an adventure! We loved our private camping area and how we were connected to so many beautiful trails! We brought our toddler and it was the perfect place for a first time camp out with her ! Our hosts were amazing and very accommodating as you can imagine camping with a toddler is an adventure in itself!
We will be back to soak in all this lovely space has to offer asap !
