There is one site located on the property. Campfires are permitted (within local regulation), pets are welcome, there is no restroom on-site, so please bring your own camping toilet or pack it out. The site is ideal for tents, vans, truck camp

Approximately 15-minute drive from either Tobermory or Lions Head with a great amount of biking and hiking trails to attend. The campsite has a small fire pit area, and use of BBQ if needed.

Very nice stay
At first glance, the large parking area for RVs and trailers does not feel that private. But as soon as you meet friendly host Larissa you will feel quite welcome. And, while the house is near, there is no direct sight-line plus the parking area is surrounded by thick cedar so I soon felt settled in my spot. A 2 minute walk gets you to shore access to enjoy the water.But from the spot at Larissa's I enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the surf, nice!
We did not have a long stay there, everything was okay though.
It was perfect for what we needed. It was quiet and provided a place for a campfire. It wasn’t a place I would spend several days at. You definitely feel you are camping on someone’s property as the sites are right beside the house. There are some lovely walks to the beach. The host Larissa was very kind and good at communicating and replying.

Host was very friendly. Kayaks and other water activity gear rentals are provided on the site for a reasonable rate; however low quantities available. There is an access point to Lake Huron within a 2 min walk from the campsite. Site was large enough for an 8-person tent with just enough room left over for everyone to sit around the firepit. The campsite is semi-secluded but not private.
Larissa was a kind and responsive host with a lovely property. It's perfectly situated between Lion's Head and Tobermory, making for easy day trips to each town. There is also a lovely, quiet community beach only a 15 minute walk away from the site - this beach is rocky but with wonderful views. The property itself is great with a nice spot to set up a tent near a firepit. A table and chairs are available, too.
One "warning": there are a lot of mosquitoes around so bug spray is a must! Would definitely choose to stay at Larissa's again when visiting Bruce Peninsula.
