Bernices spot was perfect for the kids. Lots of space to run around, they swam in the pond, built sand castles and explored the river.( very shallow and full of nature!!!) We we’re glad we brought a big umbrella as Bernice let’s you know some sites are quite hot in the sun. Bernice was very kind, responded quickly and made sure we had what we needed. My grandson has a fear of big dogs and we very much appreciated Bernices “pets on a leash rule”. We had a fabulous time. Highly recommend this spot. Pond, river campsite all steps from each other.
Our campsite was overlooking the maitland river it was beautiful. The owners are very nice. We would definitely go back.
Tranquil spot next to the river!
Very nice spot! Would be even much more enjoyable during the Spring, Summer & Fall. Our visit was in November. Nice, level camp sites with a gravel finish - perfect!
Great fall stay! Great views of the river and what looks like an awesome little man made beach sand pond that would be amazing in the summer. We didn't have any interaction with anyone from arrival to departure, and had the whole place to ourselves. It was terrific!
Bernice was very accommodating and we were very comfortable on her property. Each spot has a river view and a table with a fire pit. She also had firewood for sale.
