The park has good sandy beaches for swimming and well marked hiking trails that lead to scenic lookouts. We are open from May 15 till September 15. Glen-Lor Lodge offers great camping sites and good fishing for pike, crappie and bass in the clean clear Sydenham lake, 15 miles north of Kingston, Ontario, half way between Toronto and Montreal and just one hour from the 1000 Island International Bridge and only 2 hours from Ottawa.Pitch your tent at Glen lor lodges . Camp spot at scenic Glen - lor

We had a great time! Beautiful lake

Glen was very nice and set everything up well for us. The lake is great and the property has lots of friendly people around. Our group did some catch and release fishing and had a great time ( caught 2 bass and 1 catfish). We were camping quite close to other people so if you are looking for privacy and solitude it is not the best place for that but if you don’t mind being around people it is a great place to hangout by the lake, have a campfire and watch the sunset. We really enjoyed it. Thanks for Everything Glen.

Camp spot at scenic Glen - lor

Not a good tent camping site

This location is not set up for tent camping as it is an RV site. We were placed on an open patch of grass with no shade. I had called two days prior and was told that they had hot shower facilities and bathrooms and when we got there was informed that due to either a septic or plumbing problem the showers weren’t available but we were allowed to use the office washroom which they would leave open for us. However when we went to use the washroom around 10:30pm, the door was locked so we had absolutely no washroom facilities for the rest of the night. Thankfully next morning one of the RV residents Mikhail was kind enough to let us use his washroom as the office didn’t open until 9am. All this after charging me $60 extra for having 4 one person tents and one extra car on site. I would therefore consider this as a money grabbing scheme and not providing the amenities as stated.
