If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We were met by all of the farm animals upon arrival. Super friendly and there to be loved on! The donkeys and roosters will let you know its time to get up and explore! The cart to assist with gear was very kindly thought of and super helpful. Such a beautiful property with trails all over. Safe place to camp and firewood was complimentary and abundant. Fished the pond and got a few small bass!
The campsite is really great and has everything you need. Firepit, picnic table, and room for a tent. A couple of the campsites are pretty close to each other but we were the only ones camping when we went so can't really comment on noise at night from other campers, etc. Joe was friendly and great to communicate with. The cart available to haul stuff into the campsite was super helpful as well. The only negative were the roosters crowing in the early morning much before the sun was up.
Beautiful oasis not far from tulsa
Beautiful little oasis not far from Tulsa. This was such a great place to camp. The grounds are lovely, private, and cozy. There are extra perks like composting toilet if needed on the grounds, and outdoor shower, and trolleys to pack your gear in and out from your sites. The animals on the property are sweet, gentle souls. Joe was very kind and my camp site was lovely. Will be camping here again in future.
A zen little farm with big heart
The place itself was peaceful and refreshing and the animals were a sweet presence. My kids and I had a favorite chicken and named her Becky. She let us hold her. Also Joe and his partner both extended extra hospitality--we didn't have enough matches and the girl gave us some and Joe let us come inside their home (I'm sure this is not to be expected!) when it was pouring and we needed to charge our electronics. Also, Taylor, their friend and fellow worker on the camp was such a kind and generous dude. He chatted and played music and showed my kids the animals. We will never forget him and his playful and gentle spirit. It was our first camping trip as a family and their generosity toward us was a surprise and a comfort. God bless Three Ponds!
