Description

A great spot for boaters, bird-watchers, and anglers, Cookson Bend sits on the peninsula of Tenkiller Ferry Lake. Campers enjoy views of the 200-foot limestone bluffs rising from the scenic waters here in the Ozark Mountains. Bring your binoculars for sightings of white pelicans, loons, and bald eagles! Bass, crappie, and catfish fill the lake waters, and there are ten (count ‘em!) marinas along the lake, so bring your boat or rent one here! Scuba diving is also possible here at the lake known as “Oklahoma’s Clear Water Paradise.” Paradise, indeed!
