Perfect camping/hiking trip!
I stayed at Campsite 01. It had a perfect sunset/sunrise view overlooking the town & countryside. There were trees for ha gong my hammock, a picnic table, a charcoal grill, and is really close to the shower house (short walking distance).
The property is clean and well maintained. The trails are nicely marked. The Runestone and waterfall areas are a must see!
I’d stay here again when passing through!
A hidden gem in oklahoma
This site was absolutely amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility it had to offer as well as the amazing view. Amanda was an awesome host, as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for awesome scenery and some peace and quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay at Heavener Runestone Park. The campground was quiet even though it was nearly full. The camp host, Amanda, was very helpful and nice. We would definitely recommend and stay here again if we were in the area again.
We had a great time at our 2 night stay at Heavener Runestone park. The staff was very accommodating and helped us with anything we needed at any time. We happened to be beside a large family group and there were only 2 of us and and we asked if we could move and they allowed us to move to a different spot. Would highly recommend to stay here.
