One of nine campgrounds in the park, Buzzards Roost Campground is located on the southeast end of Lake Murray. A stay here allows you to choose your own adventure on the lake’s 5,728 surface acres. Anglers will delight when they find out It has actually been selected as one of the Top 8 Boating & Fishing State Parks by the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, but the recreational opportunities are too legit to quit at that. Try canoeing, rafting, or stand-up paddleboarding.
