Philip's land was perfect! Great shady spots with hookups. The area was beautiful, you're close to the road, but it's not busy at all, the sites were nice and quiet.

We stayed at campsite #2 (toward the back) and it was extremely quiet. It was only a brief stay, but we found it very peaceful and relaxing! And Philip was friendly and responsive to our messages. Thanks again!

Hookups clean and neat. Great communication from host. site description and directions accurate. Site 1 is early seen from road , but very little traffic, so not a distraction.

Great little camping area. Quiet, peaceful with a fantastic price. Easy access to state land. Wake up to sounds of turkey and watching deer.

Philip's place was amazing! Very well maintained and beautiful. We loved hiking the trails. We shot a couple of balls around at the basketball hoop he had set up. What a nice surprise. We didn't see anyone else the few days we were there... and enjoyed the solitude. We came to Ohio to visit The Serpent Mound. Philip's place was only about 10 minutes away. We definitely plan on coming again.

This was one of our most favorite Hipcamp spots ever! Philip does an amazing job of maintaining his property. There were two sites, both with water and electric. Site #1 does have a very bright light, possibly a street light of some sort that lights up the whole site all night, site #2 is just a few feet away from 1 but the light was not bright there at all. Site 1 is best for tents as it has more flat areas (but closer to the road) Site 2 might be too sloped for tents. There’s plenty of hammock trees though. There were plenty of mowed walking trails to explore and just down over the hill from the campsites was a cute little sitting area with a small natural spring that made a nice relaxing sound. We saw a turkey, some hummingbirds, butterflies, squirrels, a hawk and we heard many songbirds. This area is so peaceful and relaxing and was just what we needed. We wanted to explore more across the street at the wildlife area but unfortunately it was a very hot weekend and we ran out of time. We will be back soon! Thank you Philip!
