Located nearest to the fishing pond, the 2 person Lofted Barn is outfitted with 2 cots (holds 250 lbs.), picnic table, fire ring, cooking grate, spatula & sticks, tongs, a fan with light, inside locks, 2 screened windows with curtains & overhead storage. The farm is a peaceful, quiet getaway filled with nature, wildlife, food gardens, hiking trails in 10 acres of woods & a creek to play in. You'll hear bullfrogs, probably hear barred owls & maybe see a deer or 2 walking thru or the heron that flies in to feast on the bluegill. Since there is no blacktop or concrete on the farm in the country, you may need to walk in a short distance from heavy rains. We are a primitive 31-site camp with clean port-a-potties & do not have electricity & ask that you byo water. We are 4 miles from Interstate 71 and the nearest store or gas station. Since GPS does not our location, exact directions can be found at our website at grinsandpickinscampfarm/directions . com.

Great site! wonderful host!
We arrived on Friday to a warm welcome from Christy with wood and eggs for our stay. The site was a short walk to the parking lot and pond. Bth our boys loved the pond and caught fish almost every time they put a line in. Christy gave us some corn since most of the bait shops had shutdown for the season and it worked like a charm. Would highly recommend staying here!
Beautiful, clean, friendly, and fun
This is one of the best camping experiences I’ve ever had!! Christy is super sweet and friendly. She keeps her campground meticulously clean and beautiful! She put out all kinds of Halloween decorations all over the campground, even in the woods! She had a Halloween welcome mat in my cabin along with a pumpkin for me to decorate waiting for my arrival. I will definitely be back soon!!!
Amazing solo "glamping" experience
The Lofted Barn was an excellent choice for my first solo "glamping" experience. The farm and its surrounding nature were outstanding, and Christy was a wonderful host. The entire place and set-up screamed positive vibes and relaxation, which is exactly what I was looking for. I spent equal parts hiking around the beautiful farm and woods, and sitting fire-side reading a book I wanted to catch up on. I would heavily recommend the Lofted Barn on Grins and Pickin's CampFarm to anyone I know or happen upon this review.
This place was awesome! Christy was very nice and helpful! We had a great time and would do it again! This was my first time and I am very happy I did. It was very clean, fun and relaxing.
Clean and comfy.
Grins and Pickin’s was a great place to stay on my cross-country road trip, especially during the pandemic. The little cabin was clean and comfortable and the owners were very nice. There were lots of spots for campers but only three groups that night.
