A little slice of heaven...
My wife and I were discussing leaving a review and she told me "Don't leave a positive review, I want to keep this place a secret!" I laughed and said I agreed but that wouldn't fair to our hosts Fred and Glenn! Seriously though, our site and the overall campground was awesome! Very quiet, private, and the sites are very well spread out. The porta-potties on site were probably the cleanest I've ever experienced. The owners Fred and Glenn were very attentive to our needs and stopped by a couple times to make sure we were OK and to ask if we needed anything. The "glamping" tent was amazing and nicely decorated with a very comfortable queen size air mattress. We felt the price was very fair based on everything we received...A large, comfortable tent, fire ring and wood, picnic table, a grill and a trash can. And to top it off, the sight has a beautiful view of the creek and the burbling as it flowed by was almost hypnotic. We will be back! :)
The yurt was great and the campsites are very spread out! It was wonderful being directly on the river and I will definitely be back to camp or do the yurt again. The only feedback I have is it's a little pricey ($100) a night for a blowup mattress and no bath house (only a port-a-let). However, the location made up for this.
