Absolutely phenomenal! The site is in the middle of alpaca heaven. Christopher was the perfect host! He let us pet and feed the alpacas fig newtons and taught us so much about the wonders of the beautiful creatures. I can’t not say in words how amazing our experience was. Thank you so much, Christopher! We would love to come back soon.

Christopher was a very welcoming host! We really enjoyed our weekend here and got to know a lot about the alpacas and even pet the babies. There was a fire going when we arrived and a good amount of firewood. The stars are absolutely gorgeous at night and the barn cats are super cute and friendly. Buckeye Lake and Buckeye Lake Brewery is a short drive away and we loved checking that out during our stay. We would definitely come back again! :)

The campsite on the farm was great! Nice space, secluded from the owner's home, and right next to the alpacas! We enjoyed the friendly roaming cats, too. Chris had the campfire going for us before we arrived, and brought one of the alpacas out for us to "meet." There's also water and a porta-potty nearby. Chris was a wonderful host and we had a lovely stay. Thanks again!

Wonderful camping experience!
My boys and I cross-country trip, totally perfect off the hwy escape of beautiful Ohio farm country side.
Chris and his wife, dogs and alpacas were so sweet, interesting, friendly and fun. Loved the scenic spot for parking our camper, all amenities as promised and even better. They even took the time to have the fire pit pre-lit for us, harnessed two sweet alpacas we got to walk around the field and of course terrific photos taken and memories made. Perfect interesting and peaceful big drive rest.

Prior to work ending this summer, me and two friends had discussed a late summer trip as a way to ease into the transition of real life (school, work, etc.). As a group, we are very flexible when it comes to making plans, although indecisive might be a better word for it. We knew we wanted to travel, but we didn't know where - we agreed it would be fun to go somewhere new to all of us. With the help of another friend, we found camping at Chris' Alpaca Farm and, let me tell you, I am so GLAD we did. When we pulled it (around 9:30 pm), Chris' was there to greet us and guide us to our campsite, where a small bonfire awaited us. The site (the only one on the property) was secluded, flat (perfect for setting up a tent/sleeping), and right next to the fenced-in field with the alpaca. It was magical. Being a campsite, many amenities were not available though Chris did a great job accommodating us and helping us in any way possible (a bathroom and water spigot were both within walking-distance from our campsite). With this being the first time any of us had seen alpacas, Chris was friendly and knowledgeable in answering any questions we had. Overall, the experience was overwhelmingly positive and one that none of us will soon forget. Thank you for everything, Chris.

10/10 recommend! Chris was such an amazing host. We got in later than expected on Friday and he already started a fire for us. He brought us firewood when we ran out, checked in with us to make sure we were okay, educated us about the alpacas, and allowed us to walk them!! The actual spot itself was also great. You camp right next to the alpacas, park at the campsite so no need to haul your things anywhere, and it’s secluded from the house. I would definitely book this spot again. 😊

Awesome camping spot with views of pastures and alpacas! Plenty of shade to set up a tent and be able to sleep in well past sunrise. Host was very welcoming on arrival and throughout the weekend.
