Campfires are allowed in designated spots, but you'll need to BYO firewood. The block is accessible for 2WDs. We are also dog friendly provided your dog is well behaved. We have two flat campsites available near to our shed, which will allow you to access power with an extension cord from the shed. Literally just down the road is the Cox Country Club where you can enjoy a quiet meal/drink Thursday - Sunday. Wagait Beach store is also nearby to buy groceries, takeaway food and alcohol.

Wagait Beach is a small community situated on the northern coast of Cox Peninsula. Road access is by the fully sealed Cox Peninsula Road via Berry Springs. Wagait Beach is 128km from Darwin or 78km from the Stuart Highway, however as the crow flies we are 13 km from Darwin via a pedestrian ferry service.

Great location allowing access to the Cox peninsula and Darwin via the ferry. The jetty was excellent for fishing and the host was very helpful in showing us what and how to fish it. The site was clean, basic but as stated needs water to be brought with you. I recommend this site.

Nice quiet site in natural surrounds. Alan, Wendy's father, was extremely helpful with setting us up with power to our van. He and Pedro his dog, also love to go fishing at the local jetty. Some serious fish there which he introduced to me. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We had a great stay, Alan was a great host, took us fishing and told us his best spots, must have worked because I caught a queen fish.

Fantastic spot to stay, shade, power, close to beaches and club. Wendy’s dad Alan welcomed us showed us around and taught us to fish. Fantastic end to our trip in the NT. Would love to get back there again some day.
