Set on 10 acres in natural bush under gum trees in a spacious, private secure area. Lots of birdlife, especially galahs and cockatoos and at night you may hear the curlews.

This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, and rubbish/recycling facilities. We offer access to wifi, however it is not always reliable.

Enjoy the evenings warming your toes around the firepit.

Dog friendly with a large fenced area for dogs to run free. Dog sitting services and boarding available for a fee. Please ensure your pet is on a leash at all times.

A clear area is available for those who need solar. You will be able to see amazing sunsets across the paddock and sometimes the donkeys living next door on family property will come to the fence to be fed.

We are a retired couple living the rural lifestyle yet very close to all amenities eg shopping centre, dining out, hospital, markets etc. Bunnings is just down the road! We are 20 minutes to Darwin city centre and being locals for many years are able to help you with all sorts of local information.

Fantastic spot to relax and unwind. Quiet and private. Close to all conveniences for laundry, groceries, general shopping. 20 min drive to Darwin
If you are travelling with a dog, or two, Camp Wallaby is perfect for them too. Hosts are very well qualified to dog sit for a day, or longer, giving you peace of mind and the opportunity to explore the surrounding National Parks

We would definitely recommend staying at Camp Wallaby! A quiet and peaceful location shaded under the gum trees, with beautiful sunsets over the paddock.
Only a 20 minute drive from Darwin. Also close to the Adelaide River Croc Jumping Tour, only 30 minutes away.
Camp Wallaby is dog-friendly with a huge dog pen available.
Our Host Melissa was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival and showed us around the camp.
- Note to other Hipcampers: Remember to bring Mozzie Spray as there were a few mosquitos out in the evening.
Well suited campsite for self-contained vehicles as there are no toilets / showers available as of yet.
Thank you Melissa! :)
