There is plenty of soft sand to set up one tent or ten tents; large groups are welcome for an extra fee. A Porta-Potty is available at the campsite. Swimming is usually possible at the base of the falls; however, large amounts of rain can change conditions and make it unusable.
I should also add, this is not a completely private campsite deep in the woods. The camp is visible from a shared driveway, and my residence is up a hill that overlooks the area. Also, I do not own the land on the other side of the stream. Occasionally, the owners of that land will spend a weekend afternoon enjoying the waterfall view also. Still much quieter and more private than a regular campground.
Glamping tents and additional camping tents are available through a local company. Look in the pictures for the tent with red, white, and blue balloons. Message me for details.

What an awesome spot! The sound of the waterfall took away any road noise (it was conveniently close to 85) and added such a peaceful backdrop and was wonderful for sleeping. Dog friendly - our lab had a blast swimming. Convenient amenities such as a double porch swing, fire pit, trash and recycling cans, picnic table, and a very clean porta-potty!
I loved camping on Scott's land with friends beside the waterfall. It's a beautiful well kept area that even beginner campers will love.
The waterfall and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful! Gives you that far away feeling without having to go far into the mountains. The dogs loved running free. The kids really enjoyed playing on the little “beach” and in the water, as well as feeding the goats and chickens. And my husband and I loved the scenery, the sound of the waterfall, and the fact that it wasn’t far away! We will definitely be going back :)

I loved my very first camping experience thanks to Scott. He was very welcoming and communication was great. My family and I were like fish out of water not knowing what to expect or how to pitch tents 😂 but the location and view made dealing with two 9 year old boys and 3 teenage boys a breeze. The luxury of driving up to the camp site helped our group alot considering we over packed everything we didn't need and not enough of what we did. I was pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed walking on top the waterfall during the day and listening to the water from the waterfall as we rested in the evenings. I will be booking again.
It is always great to see a family on their first camping trip! I hope you guys continue to explore other Hipcamp sites and that you come back to my place again too. :)
