We had a great time at Camping by the Creek. There was lots of room with several spots for tents and a beautiful creek meandering through the camp. You're also on-site on their real working farm which was such a treat for me! We got to pet goats and pigs and even saw some 5-day old baby piglets! The entire property is beautiful from the front meadow area with the weeping willow tree and koi pond, to the vegetable and flower gardens on the sides, the critters to the left and the camp area out back. There's a nice table, an outhouse with a compost toilet, toilet paper, sanitizer, and an outdoor sink. There was a giant firepit area and plenty of wood to pick up from the ground, but we also purchased a stack of pre-cut wood which was helpful. There's also a lot of woods back beyond the camp for exploring. Kids will LOVE it here.
Overall Crystal and her family have really put together a beautiful spot to enjoy nature, and it's just a few minutes from Raleigh!!!
