Short overnight trip
It was a short overnight trip in I95. We arrived later than expected and it was after dark. We found the address with ease and Michael saw us pull up and helped direct us into the spot. At day light we left and saw the beautiful place we had been. Very well cared for and efficient for us. We would stay again and highly recommend.
Even though this site is a bit far away from I-95, trust me you'll never regret coming here. Our family stayed at Site #1 for one night with a 22 ft trailer. The entire campsite is extremely well built and maintained - quiet, clean, gorgeous, full of pine trees. Among all of the hipcamp places where we've stayed, Michael's place is the best and in my mind provides facilities of same quality as some business-operated campgrounds or RV parks at a MUCH BETTER PRICE. You can never find a better place with that price tag. Michael also offered us a dozen of organic eggs which we really appreciate. Will definitely come back again and recommend to any campers.
Courteous and kind.
Michael was thoughtful and courteous throughout our stay. Everything was clean and neat. He obviously puts his heart into his homestead.
If you are planning to cook over coals, make sure you bring a grate.
Michael's property was lovely! I'm so bummed we arrived so late and only had a one night stay, but #1 had everything we needed. We spent half the ride home thinking up reasons to come back to this part of the world.
Michael was a gracious host and very helpful, both before and during our stay. I hope we get a chance to stay again soon.
My husband and I stayed at Cedar Creek for one night. Wish we could have stayed longer. Michael was a great host. It was very beautiful and peaceful there. The fresh eggs were wonderful! Would highly recommend this place.
Peaceful spots among the pines
Quiet and serene. Lovely bucolic campground in the shade of majestic pines. I did not check out the “loo” but I’m sure it was as neat as the labeled trash receptacles. Michael checked on me several times, which was much appreciated as I was alone. I will be making this my “rest” stop for future trips north to south and vice versa.
