Beautiful farm atmosphere at working equestrian barn. Mostly level sites with 30amp service, water, and dump station. Please note that due to the layout of utilities it can be difficult to have full hook-up . Although we have 4 individual 30amp box, the only one in close proximity to the single dump station is mounted on the barn. This area tends to get more use from boarder
This area tends to get more use from boarders/and feeders so it can be a little busy. We recommend parking anywhere along the arena fence where you can still reach a 30amp service and filling up your water tanks on the way in. Then stopping by the dump station on the way out. If you would like constant water and 30amp power simultaneously, you will need approximately 75ft of either power cable or water hose. There is a Covered picnic table in middle of arena with large fire pit/ grill for your use. Also trail and sitting area by the creek. Please feel free to call or text with any, questions (828)550-3607

Michael was responsive and pleasant during every interaction. If you are looking for basic accommodations in the area and a safe place to park your camper, this is a great choice. It is a working horse boarding operation, however so do not expect to be isolated.
Happy & beautiful experience
The Horse Stables RV Camp is located in a nice very quiet area. 30 min. to Ashville and Central to other nice places too visit. Great Scenery when the fog in the morning disappeared, we took nice pictures from the Mountains. We enjoyed Electric and Water hook up and could dump the tanks close to the Horse Stables. You can use the fire pit also. Some other very friendly campers were around and the Horse people were very nice and helpful for our questions. We stayed 11 nights and enjoyed it very much. The Signals for Radio, TV and Telephone were week which is common in the Mountains. My wife and I have different telephone providers. Verizon turned out much better than T-Mobile in this area. But sometimes it was the other way around. It's so beautiful, that we will definitely come back again. We visited the Cherokee people and heard old stories at the Bonfire, drove a while the beautiful Blue Ridge Pkwy, hiked a lot waterfalls and where shopping in Ashville and other nice places. We didn't meet Michael in person, but we want to say thank you for having us and thanks to the nice people we met at the Horse Stables and for their help and time. Peter & Ann from Florida
Seems like a very nice place, easy to find and an accurate description. Unfortunately I didn’t get in until midnight that night and there were lots of torrential downpour‘s from the aftermath of the hurricane and I was gone at seven in the morning so I didn’t really get to enjoy the property.
This as a very peaceful camp with awesome views of the surrounding mountains. Watching, listening to and talking to the horses was a highlight.
The camp is conveniently located close to Asheville, Waynesville, Lake Junaluska,Maggie Valley and some awesome drives through the mountains.
Nice, simple place for an overnight
It is a beautiful spot. We enjoyed our overnight stay very much. My one comment would be communication. I sent the host a few messages that went unresponded to. Not a huge deal, the nature of the messages were fairly unimportant (ie “where is the trash can?”).
We had such an amazing stay at this hipcamp! The property was beautiful and the location was perfect. We had the peacefulness of the mountains while being pretty close to Asheville and Waynesville. Would definitely stay again!
