Our space is humble in size but huge in heart - sanctuary for the human spirit - and when you're here, you're family. A picnic table and a fire-safe pit round out "your space" of Peace and quiet.

Overnight guests have daytime access to the sanctuary and all of the beautiful creatures that have come from throw-away-to-thrive in our care. Meet Teddy the Capuchin, Betsy the Sloth, and all of their friends and family.

We are happy to share the stories of how they came to be here as well as the challenges (and ensuing moral and ethical questions that captivity raises) of creating the safe-haven they now call home.

We welcome everyone interested in joining forces across the earth who wish to tap into the inner peace, love, and acceptance we need be able to create a kinder gentler existence for all living things!

I appreciate the place. Definitely staying Sunday night to Monday when they are closed is best as no one is around. The campsite was fine and enclosed not and open field area. Communication with the owner was tough but when I got there I realized why. The amount of exotic animals that she has to take care of overwhelmed me. Hipcamp is not the priority of her business so just know that. Be prepared as a camper. Would I camp here again? Yes. Do I think it's the best "camping" experience? No. Do I think the attraction (The animals) is one of the best part of the facility? Yes.

We had a wonderful time visiting the sanctuary even though we chose to not stay the night due to the weather. The camping area was level and private and able to be driven to for car camping after the public sanctuary hours are over. The animals were great and kids had a blast.

One of the most incredible experiences I've had in my life. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I camped at the site for 6 days and made great friends with my pal Bart the pig. Betsy the sloth stole my heart, the otter crew were an extremely fun bunch and Isaac the camel was as handsome fella to greet you at the entrance.

Not only would i recommend going, I also recommend saying a night or two. Thank you to all the staff and to Cory for hosting one of my life's greatest weeks. ❤

My daughter and I had an amazing time....we camped on the days they were closed but the staff were super welcoming. Adel needs a shout out for sure as she was an amazing new friend and host...she spent time feeding some animals with Luna, giving us the low down on the place and how the residents became to call animal ed ventures there home...the many dogs there were a great addition to the experience and all vibed perfectly...Adel also gave us some good recommendations on places near by to grab pizza (Noah's) and coffee ...the place on main St. I went back for a refill after we left...bring your own cup skip the straw n plastic... Really chill spot. Thanks girls!
