On-site access to woods, trails and pond. Nearby access to Snake Rocks Preserve, a neighboring farm with cows, goats and chickens, Overlook Mountain and Ashokan Rail Trails, Opus 40, white water tubing in Phoenicia, and so many theatrical, musical, dancing, dining and shopping activities in Woodstock.Set up as you like at your private site. Firewood provided. Take walks along our wooded paths, streams and road. Fish the pond, ride your bikes and build a fire. Cook for yourselves or drive to town for meals or have them delivered. Listen to the morning/evening sounds of nature. See the resident ducks, geese, and deer and enjoy the night sky. Snake Rocks Preserve (a retired bluestone quarry) is a nearby hike. Many other hikes (Comeau Property, Onteora Lake, Overlook and Mt. Tremper fire towers) and sightseeing destinations (Ashokan Rail Trail, Opus 40, Saugerties Lighthouse) nearby, too. Check out All Trails online. We ask our guests to please note that our campsite site is located in a residential neighborhood, so noise levels need to be considered and especially reduced at night. Also, it is a “Carry In/Carry Out” site, so kindly “Please Leave No Trace.” Thank you! Laurel and Peter

AMAZING LOCATION!

Host were sooo nice and super responsive. The location to town is only minutes away… everything about this place is perfect!! Would definitely recommend & be back again!!!

Sweet spot close to town

Spacious campsite with plenty of firewood and two containers of water provided. It’s a funky hill town neighborhood, so you hear barking dogs and neighbors, but the road is quiet. We could hear the murmurings of other campers, but it felt private. We have a van with a rooftop tent and the spot was level and grassy, perfect for our set-up. Didn’t meet the hosts, but they were responsive to our questions and have created a nice vibe. Would definitely stay again when in town.

We loved this camp site!! Beautifully situated next to a little pond and was quiet and bucolic. Peter and Laurel kindly provided us with firewood and were perfectly communicative/ helpful. Also very close to town. Loved it!

We had a great overnight stay at Peter & Laurel’s camping spot. Nice flat area next to a small pond to park our camper van. Very quiet and peaceful yet very close to downtown Woodstock. We will definitely be back!

Awesome private little spot

We had a great stay. The campsite was quiet and pretty private. Peter and Laurel also set out some firewood, fire starter, and a big jug of fresh water! That was the icing on the cake 👌 Would definitely recommend!
