The cabin and the the scenery were perfect. My dogs enjoyed the meadow. The bathrooms and showers were positioned perfectly across the cabins to make it easy to reach.
I got stung by a hornet on our first morning and Tara was handy enough to have the remedy for the itching.

Overall, a lovely place to rest your head and get right with nature.

Tara’s land is intricate and beautiful. It’s her home and also a large horse ranch and also secluded woods with at least one campsite clearing area and a bath house. We didn’t pay for the cabin access but we could see that they have electricity and basic bed and mattresses. We had the campsite area to ourselves for two nights and it was just gorgeous woods to explore. You can see that people had been there using the fire pits, there were some grates for grilling that we used. Tara is kind and respectful, trustworthy. She showed my kid her horses, and we met some riders. We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful. Howling coyotes at night.

Absolutely beautiful place, very cozy and relaxing vibes and atmosphere.

The people that I met on the farm and the host were really nice, very chill and very hard working from what I could tell/see.

Friendly dogs that welcome you when you first arrive and were friendly with my dog as well.

Caught some beautiful stars and the moon on the night we stayed out here in the cabins. Cell service for Verizon was good out here though if you have AT&T it’s a little spotty but also you’re camping so why are ya on your phone?? :)

Overall great experience, definitely intend on visiting again and would highly recommend for a nice, relaxing and affordable place to stay as well!

Beautiful scenic views all around and a local meat market not far off from the farm if you’re looking for groceries to cook at the campsite.

I love WHF! Highly recommend it for retreats. I stayed in the yellow cabin(my personal favorite). This time of year there are a bunch of baby caterpillars hanging by the bathroom door; I used a broom to magic wand them away. The grass is a bit long so watch out for ticks. Otherwise, Tara is very accomodating and respectful of privacy. The bed is warm and comfy, there are beautiful horses to ride if you want lessons, and a beautiful river in walking distance. It's also pretty close to Whiteface, High Gorge Falls, and Lake Placcid for day trips. Definitely my go to campsite!

The landscape is absolutely gorgeous ! And if you are in Love with Horses, this is the place to be! I enjoyed just sitting near their fields and watching them graze. I was also able to arrange for a great riding lesson with Willow Hill Farm. I would just warn against going in the colder months, unless you are set up in a self contained unit, as the cabins are unheated and the water in the bathrooms can't be used. Luckily, I was able to use the bathroom above the riding arena. I never actually met Ken, but the people I did meet were friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend WHF. Beautiful area, beautiful scenery, very kind and courteous host. Also, you'd be missing out if you didn't get a horseback riding lesson. It was my first time riding and Ken was an excellent and thorough instructor.
Hot showers are a plus! Be wary of going during colder months because the door has a screen; very drafty. Also, watch out for deer ticks.

Stayed at Willow Hill Farm Cabins with a group of myself and 6 of my college friends. We spontaneously booked the trip for this past weekend to do something new and to hike Mount Marcy (about an hour drive away from the cabins). We did not regret it! None of us had much camping experience so the cabin was a nice middle ground. Definitely necessary to be prepared for the cold since but having power, outlets, bathrooms and warm showers was a plus. I highly recommend.

We rented a cabin, but ended up sleeping on the platform as it was a little chilly. We could insulate the tent better to keep warm. The cabin only had opaque shutters and screens. The cabin was what you would expect from a post season summer camp. They did put a queen bed inext the bunks, but it was just nicer to be outside in our tent.

Ken the host was very accommodating.

The bathrooms and showers could be cleaner, but hey, it's a camp.

Property was good. Had enough space for 8 people to sleep, but Owner failed to mention that we have to bring our own blankets and sheets. Other than this the location of this camp is beautiful.
