Stonehenge is a wide open space surrounded by apple trees, cherry trees and plum trees. It has a beautiful view of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. This is a beautiful site to set up your tent and watch the sunset and if you're lucky, you may see a plane or two take off and land from our runway. In the distance you can watch parachuters floating down from the sky from the nearby Sky Dive The Ranch. You have access to a fire pit, applewood (sold in bundles at our farm market), and a picnic table. As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

This camp site is everything we hoped for and more!! Not even sure where to start because everything about this place is incredible. The site is private and clean with fresh cut grass and stunning views of the orchard and mountains beyond. Wright's Farm(onsite)has an incredible store with everything from local dairy, fudge, jams, syrups, produce, pies, doughnuts and more!! The Gardiner Brewery is also on the premises which has incredible beers, local wines, whiskey and a comfortable bar area with outdoor seating. Stonehenge is less then ten minutes from New Paltz with plenty of places to eat as well as shop!! Ton of things to do in the area. So glad we spent our 21st wedding anniversary here. My wife and I will definitely be back in the near future!!
Beautiful! Can’t wait to return. Our site was on a grassy area near the trees. Across the street were some RVs, but besides that, it was pretty private and quiet. The bathroom is about a 5-10 minute walk away. The brewery had live music on Saturday which was wonderful. The Wright’s market had everything you would need! Meats, veggies, bread, jams, etc. I was only disappointed in the extra fees for additional people at the site ($ for more than 2 adults).
A great spot in New Paltz. There’s a little road noise from the main road and you will have neighboring campers across the dirt road, but the site feels very tucked away and private next to the apple trees. Gorgeous views of the meadow.
Great site, uncommunicative hosts
The site itself was fantastic! Very spacious. We pre-paid for a bundle of wood to be at our campsite and maybe three half burnt logs were given to us, forcing us to leave and buy wood at a store. Also there was a camper parked at our campsite so I texted the host about it and they never responded.
Great time camping on this beautiful farm. We camped in tents in the field close to the apple orchards. And the sunsets were glorious and star-gazing at night was awesome.
We arrived after sunset / when the store was closing so finding the hose for water and port-a-potty was a little confusing but the host was super fast and responsive over text.
We got some apple cider doughnuts for breakfast and in the evening had food/drinks at the brewery, which were unexpected amenities.
Would love to come back to Wright's Farm next season!
