Mapleland Farms is a 5th generation family farm now producing nearly 8000 gallons of pure maple syrup each year. We live here on the farm, too; and are available to help make your visit to our area more rewarding by offering "local's tips". Our woods provide not only the 20,000 trees we tap to make maple syrup, but also a home for songbirds, hawks, deer, bear, and other wildlife. Look and listen to find these wild residents. Cossayuna Lake DEC boat launch - 1/4 mile; and Carters Pond DEC Natural Area - 3 miles. Groomed snowmobile trail crosses the farm. Learn more about this land: Working maple farm with amazing views. Acres of mowed fields and hardwood forests for walking and bird watching. Quiet town roads for walking and biking. Great snow shoeing and a groomed snowmobile trail passes through the property.Working maple farm with amazing views. Acres of mowed fields and hardwood forests for walking and bird watching. Breathtaking hilltop!
Camped on David's land for one night -- it was very simple, no toilet or running water but it was exactly what we needed! Tent site is just far enough away from the road to ensure some privacy. Would absolutely recommend.

Breathtaking hilltop!
The property was beautiful and the family so sweet! We chatted with them as we bought some of their maple goodies. Would recommend.

Breathtaking hilltop!
David and his wife were wonderful! So sweet! Also, this is definitely a functioning maple farm so you can buy product from their house when you check in. The view from the hilltop is beautiful, and we were able to collect firewood from downed trees in forest for firewood. The main negatives are that this isn’t a solitary site - it’s listed on Harvest Hosts and we had two other campers there with us. Also, for having the other campers there - there wasn’t a place to use the bathroom. The woods we’re quite a walk away, and there wasn’t enough tree coverage next to the spot to hide yourself away. All in all the hosts were great and super helpful - we’d definitely stay again!

Silent and comforting mountain view
Absolutely stunning view. Friendly hosts. We were the only people on the site with our small vintage camper and we found it to be incredibly peaceful and easy to pull in and stay for one night. AND Don’t miss the chance to get some Homemade maple syrup goodies and locally spun yarns from the talented hosts. Sweet spot for sure.
