Loved this space!! Quiet & secluded! Super clean and beautiful views day and night. The host warned us about the mosquitos before we came, and offered to rebook us to another time because they were really bad. We decided to keep our plans and it was good with screens & candles. Grateful for the host giving us a choice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was a lovely spot on the water, very green, but be aware the mosquitoes are intense. .
The place is in a neighborhood at the end of a street. It was very private and secluded for being close to others… that was nice. Also, the walk town was short and the people and shops there were great. The limited retail stores were beautifully designed and the Chiv was an amazing for yogis like us.
My only suggestion to Jason is to get something that deters the mosquitoes .. I know I’ve heard of people that can spray your property or set up something so that they can nest somewhere else. Other than the bites, we had a blast.
Thanks !

We always have a great time at this location! With the weather being bad this time around we explored more of the local towns and still enjoyed ourselves. Eagle sightings guaranteed!

If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place. Beautiful lot(at end of clay col de sac) right on the "Flats" of the Delaware River. Numerous Bald Eagles, Deer, Fox and Turkey at your camp. Fishing okay, a lot of small smallmouth bass. Fire pit and nice picnic table...no hookups at all so you need to be able to boondock camp (meaning you need your own water, electric, etc). No bathrooms. Wish there was some type of Garbage Container. Being someone who knows NOT to leave garbage out, had to store nightly in my vehicle. Not a pleasant smell the next day. Very private, didn't see anyone unless we went for a walk, people were very nice in the neighborhood.

Stayed the weekend in April and spring buds and blossoms were beautiful. No bugs given the season. Site was quiet and private, despite being in a neighborhood. This is a plot of land (no house/built structure) at the very end of a suburban road. The closest neighbor is in sight but we parked our van in such a way to give us a bit of buffer from them (as they were out doing yard work most of the weekend). There were some dog-walkers, strollers, etc who walked down to the dead end to turn around but this didn’t bother us or feel invasive. Great bird watching - bald eagles, mergansers, etc. Fire pit near the “main site” and another pit down by the water’s edge. Clothes line set up and good trees for hammocks. Just over a mile walk into the very charming town, with good food/drink options and shopping. There are informational/historical plaques everywhere. Went to the Fort Delaware Museum to learn about the local history.
