Joseph was a kind and helpful host with lovely accommodations. It’s an especially beautiful time to camp in the cupola in the fall and experience what the Catskills have to offer.

Everything about this place is awesome. Joe is the man and really built a different little world and each small home has its own character and vibe. The bathroom is clean and all the amenities of having electricity and running water come in huge. Great stay with a great host.

This place was magnificent!! We stayed in the cupola and it has such an amazing cozy feel. The appearance is small but the ambience made the place feel so much bigger. Joseph is a terrific host and he was kind enough to give us a tour of his facilities in which he built himself, what an incredible feat. This place gave us a true glamping experience, and I already recommend this place to all my friends. I'm definitely coming back I just hope this hidden jewel has availability when I book again, I'm sure this place will be booked.

We stayed in the Cupola at Hidden Chalet for two nights and had a great time. The highlight of the site for us was the fire pit (firewood available for purchase) and the ability to see so many stars at night.

The campsite was about a 10-minute drive from the downtown Roscoe area, where we went to Roscoe Diner for lunch, Roscoe Beer Co for beer and great sandwiches, Prohibition Distillery for the tasting room and outdoor cocktails, and Northern Farmhouse Pasta for dinner (best pasta ever, a must-visit). We were also about a 13-minute drive from the Mud Pond/Trout Pond hiking loop, with a detour path to Russell Brook Falls. On Sunday, we stopped by the Roscoe Farmer's Market, which was also nice.
