Awesome stay at Danielle's tent site! As soon as we arrived, she personally greeted us & gave us the "lay of the land"! The site is really private & completely secluded from her home and the other tent site. Really felt like your own private oasis in the middle of the forest with clear views of all the stars!
Danielle was the kindest, most accommodating host. It was so nice to stay somewhere where someone had so much love for the land they inhabit. Her love of the area is evident. She gave great recommendations for nearby activities and was so kind our entire stay. We will definitely be back. So much better than a bigger campground.
Danielle was such a nice host! We arrived very late on the first night of our stay due to our work schedule and commute; she was so gracious enough to stay up to make sure we found the spot and also to make sure we did not get stuck in the mud. The site was very well kept and had benches around the fire ring, along with a picnic table, which was super nice. We also requested firewood, which was all arranged at the site for us. We only had an issue with the wood being damp, so it didn’t burn well, but we would rate our stay 10/10 and would definitely recommend to anyone else.
A-maaa-zingggg upstate getaway!! 😍
We had an awesome time in our private wooded tent site at Harpy Hollow. The site was huge with plenty of room for our dog to roam and still had a very private and primitive feel. Very nice and clean bathroom! Our host, Danielle, was so laid back and accommodating and genuine good company. Our hiking plans were rained out accompanied by bonus tornado warnings 🤣 but Danielle went above and beyond to help ensure we were warm and dry by helping us fix our easy up after the rain collapsed it and offering dry wood and warm apple cider. Hands down, a very enthusiastic 10/10! What could have been a bummer of a weekend due to weather, still turned out to be a super great time due to the hospitality of Danielle and friend who helps with the property. Will be back soon to conquer all the hikes/waterfalls we had planned and we can’t wait to come back to visit and see all the progress made with all the big plans they have in store for future development of the grounds. Highly recommend! 💯 👏🏻 🏕 🔥🐕 🥾 🐾 🙌🏻 🍁 ⛰.
Lovely spot in upstate New York, very secluded and away from the town. Down a nice dirt road off the beaten path, no street or house lights so it’s pitch black at night, that makes it very nice. You really do feel like your out in the woods.
The host was very kind and considerate, offering firewood whenever needed. The host was also very knowledgeable and has a great deal of experience.
We are excited to camp here again, I would recommend it to anyone!
Ideal spot for lake seneca!
We took our 13' off road camper to this spot with our 2 Harley Davidson Motorcycles and it was perfect for our weekend away! The area is spacious and heavily wooded. You don't even feel like you are on someone's property. The road traffic is rare, I think we saw 10 cars over 3 days, which is ideal for us! We are rugged campers so we always bring our own water, bathroom, and power, I would recommend the same for anyone else staying at this spot. It was a gorgeous easy drive to Lake Seneca and the surrounding area. We had a blast and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a private camping spot!
