This is a beautiful little spot to pitch a tent if you're looking for something accessible where you can just camp beside your car. The site is between two ponds, with a fire pit, table and chairs, & beautiful trees.

Jo’s land was perfect, close to hiking trails, breweries and Woodstock. We had the back spot and even though we could see the house, it was still quite private.

Very quiet campsite! Great if you want a barebones Catskills alternative to the state campsites.

Our stay at Jo’s place was really nice. Jo was super easy to communicate with. The campsite was right on the pond and perfect for stargazing. Also, the location is amazing and close to many great hikes, fun towns, and places to eat. Would definitely recommend!

We had an excellent stay at Dreamweaver Pond. Jo was an excellent host and provided a porta potty, table, and some firewood from the previous campsite guests. The site by the pond is perfect for 1-2 tents, but it can be difficult to get your stakes in the ground as there are a lot of rocks/gravel. Make sure to bring bug spray. There is plenty to do in the area and if you forget any supplies you can go to a grocery store within 10 minutes. I recommend checking out Woodstock and Saugerties for shopping/food. Also the kaaterskill falls are a short drive away and definitely worth the visit.

Kaaterskill Falls: a 1.6 mile hike approximately 20 minutes from Jo’s camping site

Had a wonderful stay at Dreamweaver Pond. It was quiet and relaxing, we even got to see a deer and fawn that Jo was rehabilitating. We also saw a fox and had a cute little toad hang by the fire pit with us all weekend. The hosts gave us space, we didn’t actually see them at all and the spot was just far enough into the woods that you really felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but it was still just a quick less than 10 minute drive into town. Jules gave us a recommendation to go to Love Bites to eat and it was fantastic. My only disappointment was the size of the pond and that the canoe didn’t really have much of a back seat. But those are super minor complaints that didn’t really impact our stay at all (but I mention them because if you’re going with the intention of canoeing most of the day I wouldn’t recommend this spot specifically) we still had some fun canoeing around for a bit it just wasn’t as big as I was expecting it to be (which could be my own fault for not looking at the photos closer) but regardless, I loved staying here and would definitely like to come back again. We took a day trip into saugerties and went to Opus 40 and then the next day we took a trip over to Woodstock and walked around the town there. There’s a ton of options for activities to do and Jules and Jo will happily give you great recommendations on things to do and places to eat!

Definitely enjoyed my stay, at site 2 (which was past her house and pond)

Pros: good location to explore the Catskills area, peaceful with wildlife, and a super friendly host!
Cons: a bit of a trek for my car to navigate the road, and don’t forget the bug spray!

A beautiful piece of land and made for a fantastic weekend getaway!
