The land had been up for subdivision, with 12 new homes planned since it adjoins our other 17 wooded acres we purchased it to try and keep it natural. Site 5 - Cokertown Campground- lakeside camp
Both Herb and Stephanie were lovely hosts, and the campsite was great (they let us take the larger site farthest away from the road as we were the only people present for the weekend). The firewood they sell is excellent quality and quantity for the price. Would strongly recommend visiting when it's warm out to take advantage of the rowboat they provide for the small lake. Otherwise the area has several very nice attractions both natural and historical within easy driving distance.

Great peaceful wonderful every way
Can’t believe such a beautiful spot is so close to the NYC area. Stephanie is the perfect host, the best at communicating and patient and cares about your welfare in every way. We booked last minute same day on an impulsive whim and she accommodated all our needs. The sites are really great for cars with rooftop tents, perfect view of the lake at sundown. Make sure to use the host’s directions and the exact address.

Wonderful escape
What a wonderful place this was. I had the place to myself perched on a hill overlooking a lovely pond. I had a lovely walk in the woods, experienced a beautiful sunset and enjoyed my time by the campfire. I would definitely come back!

Site 14 LAKE FRONT SITE Camper/ van
Beautiful lakefront view
We loved camping at this beautiful site right on the serene lakefront. Herb and Stephanie were wonderful hosts that went above and beyond in ensuring we were comfortable and had enough firewood for the night to stay warm (temps got to the low 20s). Will definitely come again and stay at this site. Thank you 😊

So happy with our stay!
Loved this site! So kid friendly and was happy with our location, maybe even next time would request the spot even closer to the lake because it was such a hit! Loved the row boat and the host was SO great directing us. Soon as we left our kids asked if we could go back again soon… ABSOLUTELY!
