Had a great time here! It was a last minute reservation, and Mark was very accommodating, including the later check in time. The area was also great and quiet, with an amazing view of the hills. The street is near, but cars didn't pass as often so it didn't bother me. The only possible down side is, due to the open area, there isn't a shade to pitch a tent in, but since I was only there for the night, it didn't bother me at all. The restroom and shower they offer is part of their house, so amazing accommodation there too. I would highly recommend Bisaccia Botanical Gardens if you're in the area and want a quiet open area to camp in.
Mark and Sue were so friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The use of their shower is a real kindness to us smelly campers! And yes, as some reviewers said, the road is there, but barely a car came by the whole time and who cares when the view from your tent is so spectacular! And the stars!!
A peaceful place.
Just returned from a wonderful stay at Mark’s farm. This place was perfect, so quiet and peaceful, overlooking the Catskills mountains. Our site was level and very scenic. Mark was so accommodating and so nice to talk to as he worked away tending to his gardens. The bathroom was such an added bonus that you rarely get while hip camping. Tried out his archery equipment and he also has horseshoes available. We also enjoyed Sue’s delicious baked goods from the farm stand. Would definitely recommend Mark’s place if you are in this area.
We had a great weekend staying on Mark's land. Beautiful views! Mark was super accommodating, meeting us when we arrived, showing us all the amenities, and even offered to make us breakfast. If you are looking for a place to take up camp, I highly recommend staying at Mark's.
Beautiful fall foliage view
Mark's place is beautifully situated atop a hill & surrounded by views of fields and hills. We were there in our 19' Dodge Pleasure-Way the end of October with a few fall colors left in the trees. Mark was extremely friendly and helpful. The grass was too wet to access the camp site, so we stayed in the dooryard. He provided electricity, wifi, and access to the indoor guest bathroom, which was spotless, by the way. He even gave us some freshly baked oatmeal rsisin cookies. Peaceful & quiet night with nice view of the stars. Thank you Mark!
Overnight stay on the way to vt
Mark was very nice and accommodated our late check in (after 9pm) by coming outside and walking us over to our camp site. The site and views were perfect. Bathroom was inside the house and very clean.
Lovely time at bisaccia
Mark was a fabulous host. He guided us to a to an open area with fantastic views of rolling hills. Quickly explained and showed us the wonderful amenities. The shower and bathroom was clean and lovely, and the water got hot. There is a covered picnic area to ride out storms, and fresh produce on site. Mark was affable and effusive about the campsite and the surrounding land and we were incredibly happy to with everything. We would recommend this hipcamp to everyone.
