This spot is for people that think that they are the only ones left in the world. Once at the top, its yours to live in peace and quiet.

56 acres of undulating hills covered with native bush land, with many cleared sites for you to set up camp.

If you like an adventure then this camp site is for you. 4 of the  campsites  are accessed by 4WD only and the two 1000ft mountain sites are a 19 degree steep drive up hill to the penthouse summit.

Campers are welcome to have a campfire, there is plenty of timber on the ground that you can collect or bring your own.

There are some great bush walks you can enjoy, including down to the creek (about a 40 min walk). The creek is picturesque with lemon trees and peach trees along the edge while in season.   There is also a 10 month of the year  30 metre high waterfall (depending on rain fall this waterfall can vary from massive water to  slow water) and another seasonal waterfall. There is also a dam for swimming with a boat and fresh mountain spring water constantly flowing into it from an inch and a half poly pipe.

There is also camping down by the river for off road self contained  4x4 campers and those with a tent.  Having a winch is good insurance for the road back out of the creek camp site if it has been raining. The water in the creek is safe to drink with no filter needed.  The creek is running and crystal clear and very private.

If you have a 4x4 PMand a 1.5 tonne off road camp trailer then you will make it up to the top of the mountain that is a 19 degree climb. If it has been raining then it is not possible to make the climb.

If you are in a 2 wheel drive RV/ Motorhome there is one site that is all grass accessible in the dry weather. Plenty of drinking water is also available.

All campers MUST HAVE their own portable toilet. If no portable toilet you can purchase one from many camping stores at a reasonable price before coming.  Doing number 2 in the bush is totally unacceptable. Because this is a leave no trace camp site we do ask you to take all trash with you when you leave as well.  There is no council rubbish collection in this area. We respect our beautiful paradise and we know you will appreciate it also.

We stayed at “top of the world” and it was absolutely beautiful, so quiet and peaceful, there was even fireflies down the track at night. The waterfall on the property was absolutely incredible. Alan was very friendly and we would plan to visit again.

We had a beautiful spot on the top of the hill overlooking the beautiful mountains, it was so peaceful and relaxing and Alan and his partner were lovely people they even made us some homemade biscuits, which was a lovely gesture, thank you for having us, and Steve said the tree should be renamed Volkswagen Amarok Hill ha ha ! Thank you again for letting us enjoy a bit of your paradise on top of the world! Will definitely be returning!

Wow! What an amazing spot. We camped near the creek and loved the privacy, only us in the whole area! It was very private. We had a puppy and she loved the freedom! Beautiful creek. Stunning walks and long cycles along the dirt road. A friendly warm town just minutes away. Alan and Linda was super hosts. Warm freshly baked biscuits and a helpful hand ! We will be back! Thank you For sharing your property with us!

Alan was super helpful and showed us around his beautiful property and we ended up changing out mind on camp site from our original pick. We braved the drive to stay at the “Top of the World” site on the very top of the hill. Had the place to ourselves. Fantastic views and look forward to staying again.

“Top of the World” site. And it definitely felt like it.Bit of a rough trek up the creek to the waterfall. A few landslides to tackle. There was a beautiful fresh stream running under our feet the whole time.Only made it to the small waterfall. Access to the main event from this direction was a little further up but the track got a little too much for us oldies.Top of the World

Alan's property is a place I would love to live.

On arrival, we were greeted by Alan, and he happily showed us around his property, After Alan and my lovely wife highly advised us not to drive up the hill as we were towing a 2 Tonne camper behind a Toyota Prado, Both me and my mate drove on up enjoying the spectacular mountain views and admired the winch cable marks left behind in the trees from fellow Ranger, Amarok and Nissan drivers.
Once on top of the hill we setup camp for 4 days and enjoyed, the sunsets, sunrises and rain while over looking the mountains views.
Down the bottom of the hill is a beautiful water fall where you can take a shower after couple days of camping, Bloody fresh and it feels like you are getting washed down by a pressure cleaner, "hope you got a good water filter Alan a I had a shower Fart"

This place is beautiful and I highly recommend it and if you know how to not listen to the wife, camp up top, it's worth the argument.

You guys are too funny. Your waterfall fart tasted like a funky camels breath in our house tap, the filter must of let it through. Listening to your wife is still a good option. I'm glad your Saturday night fun drive in the bush on our property was worth your time. I know the trees loved it and had a huge laugh watching. Looks like your Toyota's had your back. All of you were the most active group of crazy fun people we have met. Hope to see you again soon. The road down to the fresh flowing creek is waiting for you guys to return soon. Watching you drag that 2 tonne camper trailer up that mountain was pure poetry especially so close after the rain. Remember your wife and I did say don't try it. :-)

Beautiful location with plenty of space. From the moment Alan met me at the gate I felt so welcome. Lots of walking in the area. The country road was peaceful. The creek was fresh and clean to swim in and Alan's new dam was great for a dip too. Thanks Linda for the great chat and produce exchange. You both were so lovely and number 1 hosts . Will visit soon. Oh and my dogs had a great time too.
