We loved our weekend at Stonepine Ridge. We stayed at the Creek View site which was fantastic for our kids to safely splash about it. Lovely shady flattish site with firepit. Lots of room to play and kick a ball around. Spotted platypus in the creek, kangaroos and lots of bird life. Short manageable walk to the pit toilet (bring own toilet paper). Liz, Alan & their beautiful dogs were very friendly and kind. Liz met us at the front gate and we followed her to our spot which was very helpful (4wd needed). The long paddock would also be a beautiful spot to camp with lovely views of paddocks & farmland. The road out to the property was a lovely smooth drive. We look forward to returning.
Fantastic granite belt experience!
You need to get here! We were absolutely blown away by the scenery of the drive into the farm and how lush, green and well kept the property was. Liz met us at the gate and was extremely helpful, giving us loads of information about the property and what local attractions we could see during our visit. She gave us a full farm tour and even showed us her 2.5 year old poddy calf Harry!
The view from Rory's lookout was absolutely spectacular and the sunrise was an incredible sight to wake up to. The creek camps are also super nice with lots of spots to throw a swag or even space for a small camper. Each site had it's own toilet and fire pits which were very clean and tidy.
All up Liz was an amazing host and we could not recommend her enough. We will definitely be back! (we may have already booked our next trip!)
