This site hosts the most incredible stunning, picturesque vantage point overlooking the best that Riverside Escape has to offer; the beautiful swimming hole, the majestic rock, the babbling rapids, the sandy beach and it's lush surrounds.
Words and photos don't do it justice.
Our best site for large camp vehicles; Caravans, RV's, camp trailers etc.
You can easily sit and stare at the view for hours.
The gate leading down to the swimming hole is just metres away.
There is easy access to drive in or reverse into this site.
Some of the ground is not 100% level so you may or may not need leveling chocks.
This site will suit any sized vehicle.
The track down has very good width and height clearance.
Riverside Escape is good in wet conditions. There is no muddy track that develops nor does the campsite get muddy.

What an stunning place! Truely worth the drive. Swimming and sand, stunning rock formation all nestled among the mountains.. cedar trees, the sounds of water and wild goats! We will be back again. Caroline is a great host, very clear instructions on how to find the place.
This was an exceptional piece of paradise. Real bush camping with so much to do. Spectacular views, deep swimming hole, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, walking. Fires, not too far to town for ice. Easy road in and out. Caroline was full of knowledge of the area and had easy directions to follow. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing property with us. We will be back for sure! BYO facilities, plenary of firewood to collect. Not too far to town for ice or groceries.

There was good instructions on how to find the place and clear signs where our camp site was. Lovely bush camping, good birdwatching and kayaking. Campsites were well placed away from each other.
We loved the lookout at Riverside escape, beautiful view and lovely clean and green site.
Caroline was amazing in giving very detailed directions and instructions.
We brought our own firewood although there is a small amount provided which would have been fine.

Beautiful secluded spot and sites are a good distance away from each other. No actual address but directions were very clear and lots of additional info was supplied by Caroline regarding things to do in the area. The river was roaring due to recent wet weather but no danger of flooding and the swimming hole was still safe from currents. Did I mention stars? The stars were awesome. The Milky Way was on its full display. Close to national park which was absolutely stunning and well worth a visit. There is a sloping track down to the camp sites, which was fine, but coming out can be a little bit slippery in patches if wet and towing a heavy trailer. Overall absolutely awesome spot to be off grid camping.
Views from camp looking down over river were beautiful. Very restful stay though we did not have any other campers there at time of stay. Site reasonable level, just needed a bit of ramp on one side.
We absolutely loved The Lookout camping off the grid in serenity and peace. The river was perfect for a refreshing dip. The night sky waa beautiful.
Caroline is so friendly not only a great hostess but now a new friend of ours.
Highly recommended 5 stars all the way. We will be back.
Beautiful and peaceful spot near the river. Getting to the campsite was a bit hairy with our big Motorhome but it’s not too far from the gate. Great spot to get back to nature!
