An open area to escape the crowds
A large open paddock so it does have plenty of space for groups. Unfortunately the grass was 30cm high meaning it wasn’t overly pleasant to walk around, and made it hard to see the ground. We found 4 brown snake skins and that made me a bit nervous with our dog and the long grass. We asked for a whipper snipper so we could cut it back ourselves and the hosts gave it immediately which was great. The open area does also mean it is a lot windier as there’s not much to block it an no nooks to park in to. It’s also floods so after our week of rain it was very boggy. Maybe some advice from the host would be good to help navigate the property in these conditions. The hosts provide an abundance of firewood and a 10 min drive to C Head.
A flat paddock to camp in which was pretty easy to find. Be aware that GPS will take you past the property - you will find it just before the Verges Ck turn on Seale Rd if you are coming off the highway. Site was an easy drive to Crescent Head which has beautiful beaches. We had the whole field to ourselves and the host checked in to see if we needed anything.
Excellent - had a great time with a group of friends. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and access to firewood.
A great private place to stay, large open space great place to cook off an open fire and disconnect from everyday living. Highly recommend!
Such an awesome place to stay. We loved the space and woods feel to the property. We stayed away from the trees to avoid the bugs. Thanks again for having us! 10/10 would recommend

A beautiful property quiet and well kept. Our host Jarene couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Site limits make this a comfortable private stay for an awesome weekend away.

Hi Renee, Thanks for your feedback, however inaccurate. Welcome to the Australian bush, we do list this as a bush camp which comes with the beauty of the Australian wildlife. (Snake skins yes, brown snakes no!) Along with a symphony of bird calls to wake up to every morning and enjoy of an evening. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so could not get the tractor down to slash. If you’d like manicured lawns you’re probably best to stay in a caravan park with others camped on top of you. It is 33 acres, and while we don’t have designated nooks like a caravan park we offer a huge space where you can have acres of space all to yourself. In future, please take your rubbish with you and clean up your camp fire appropriately as per our rules listed. We have to pick up left over fire wood before we can slash again for the next guests.
