Pine Gums is so close to everything but also feels a world away from everyone. From the time you pull in, to the time you leave, the experience at Pine Gums is peaceful, rewarding and one you will always cherish and remember. With so many people coming back time and time again, bringing friends and family, this really does speak for itself. This site was previously a pine forest and was harvested back in 2018. We are clearing some ground for grazing cattle while letting some regrowth come through for the wildlife. We have plenty of kangaroos, possums, wombats just to name a few and an abundance of birdlife. There is an undercover BBQ area with a built-in fireplace and gas BBQ. There is also a proper flushing toilet. At night, sit and listen to the sounds of silence as you glance up to the stars. This spot feels a world away but still has the convenience of being only 10 minutes off the Hume Hwy and only 20 minutes from Goulburn where you can get all your daily needs. There is plenty of firewood laying around the property for the campfire so bring your saw, cut some wood, and just enjoy. No firewood is to be taken off the property. Please always consider the next camper and leave some available and ready. Pet friendly! This site offers a great camping facility away from everyone with sweeping views down over the Breadalbane plains, abundant wildlife, kangaroos, possums, wombats just to name a few. The under cover BBQ area with a in built fire (Camp cooking) and gas BBQ is an ideal spot to relax, unwind and enjoy. There is also a flushing toilet for that additional comfort. We only offer one booking at a time so you can truly enjoy this place on your own, yes, that's right, just you and your friends. At night sit and listen to the sounds of silence as you glance up to the stars. Yes, the property has the added feature of phone reception. There is some firewood laying around the property for the camp fire so bring your saw, cut some wood and just enjoy. No fire wood is to be taken off the property. With the wet conditions we have experienced it is recommended that you bring some dry wood along with you. Tracks are mainly all two wheel drive friendly however, once again with the wet conditions we've had 4x4 is recommended. Pet friendly! We request that you leave the property clean and tidy and take all rubbish away. Book now and enjoy.

What a lovely, secluded spot, very tranquil. Was nice to have a toilet available, talk about a loo with a view.

Perfect off-grid spot

Excellent off-grid spot! Too many pros to list: - three options for fires, - two tables, - six deck chairs, - two scooters, - the undercover area with so much built-in seating plus a bbq really allowed our kids to spread out, - we also appreciated the toilet for when our own was in use. - lots of lovely wildlife around for our kids to enjoy, so many lizards, kookaburras, one kangaroo, and a huge owl The biggest pro of all though: - we loved being all alone over Easter with nothing but the stunning view to keep us company. Such a rarity for camping at that time of year. This place is perfect for groups but we just wanted to be alone and it was so worth the cost (which wasn’t even that expensive!) Cons: - Couldn’t get the shower working but that wasn’t an issue for us anyway - Had to clean up a few bit of previous peoples trash in the surrounding scrub - Only one “bush walk” which is actually a 4WD track in full sun so the options to explore with the kids was a bit limited Rod and Candice’s instructions were so helpful and when the GPS took us to the wrong first gate, a quick phone call sorted us out. Apart from that we never heard from anyone! Our AWD Kia Sorrento handled the track to the campsite totally fine. It’s not high off the ground like a 4WD so we just took it slow.

A great place to relax and chill

We love coming to this peaceful place, the undercover area makes it an easy place to camp. The campfire is a great place to sit around and enjoy the serenity of such beautiful surroundings. Looking forward to our next trip here again.

Our lil family loved it!

What a great spot. Lovely views and so quiet. We really enjoyed our stay here. The drive is a lil bit 'bumpy' but our all-wheel drive managed just fine. Loved the fireplace to toast smores on.... The only thing missing was a place close by to swim, but that's only minor for everything else this place has to offer!

Great for kids and pets

Perfect place to bring the kids and pets camping for the first time! The area is private with essential amenities and beautiful views! We are now home feeling very relaxed.
