This campsite is accessible by all vehicles except in wet conditions when 4WD access needed. Please check with us if you're unsure of the conditions on site.
You have access to the whole property to take photos on your special day.
Portaloos are included with this booking for your comfort (you will need to arrange your own showers and other event infrastructure).
We are happy to put you in touch with the local wedding and event infrastructure hire business so you can make all the important arrangements for your special day.
Maiden Jewel is located at the foothills of Burning Mountain (Mount Wingen). A visit to this mountain is a must when you stay here. Burning Mountain is a rare phenomenon - a coal seam, buried 30 metres underground, which has been burning for at least 5,500 years and some say over 15,000 years. The walk is accessible via the National Park and is a 4km return trip through bushland which becomes increasingly bare and barren the closer you get to the smoking vent.
