Nestled below Toworri National Park you will have the spectacular Wingen Maid as your back drop with views from every campsite. We have something for everyone. All campsite are off grid, some you will need an off road vehicle as there is a gully crossing but mostly are accessible by all vehicles. The private Camping areas can accommodate several vehicles all with views. If you enjoy meeting people we have more listing that are able to accommodate dozens of campers at the Waterhole Campsite and The Long Flat campsite, where you can meet new people and still not camp to close to each other. Enjoy the company of like minded campers around a cosy campfire. With several dams for swimming, kayaking or fishing, you will have access to all of them.
If bushwalking and bike riding is your thing we have over 10 kms of trails to explore. Follow the Petticoat Fire Trail or one of several slashed tracks so you don't get lost.
You will see many species of wildlife like Kangaroos, Wallabies, Goannas, Deer, Wombats and some threatened species of birdlife like the Grey Crowned Blabbers.
We offer horse enthusiasts to holiday with their horses, where you can ride all the trails swim the horses in the dams and on the odd occasion muster the cattle in.
Off farm activities you can visit the Wash Pools for a cool dip or put the hiking boots on for a trek to the Burning Mountain.
With large camping areas available we can privately book these areas for private function depending on your needs, Parties, Wedding, Family Reunions etc. Next we will be looking at setting up some spectacular Glamping sites. Watch this space.

Best campground we've stayed at yet! Huge open space for the kids to play, we felt like we were the only people there. There's so much to do - great tracks for bike riding and driving, fishing and lots of yabbies in the dam. Jane and Mal were great hosts, very easy to get in touch with.
Beautiful spot, nicely mowed, fires and dogs allowed, plenty of space, very relaxing. Only thing is the toilets were blocked sometimes, dont think there was enough water each day in toilet pumps, but still would recommend camping here
Amazing camping spot!
Have stayed here twice now at "The Waterhole". Both last minute bookings, very easy communication with Jane. Her and Mal are very accommodating and take the time out to come over and have a chat during your stay. The property is beautiful, its clean and there are no issues with other campers or overcrowding.
The place is very friendly!
Definitely would and have recommended this place to friends and family.
We stayed at the picturesque Jewel over the Easter long weekend. We had the place to ourselves.
The place was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a family camping getaway.
Jane was super helpful and friendly which made our stay even better.
You have to experience this
For a last minute booking we had 0 expectations but were pleasantly surprised by this stunning jewel! Felt completely private, lots of friendly horses and cows, many places to swim, the property is huge and lots of great hikes nearby! Jane and Mal were so helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back :)
Definitely a jewel
Our stay at Maiden Jewel was awesome, made very welcome by our hosts Jane & Mal & provided a tour around their beautiful property. Loved the capacity of multiple camp sites, most secluded enough that you wouldn't know there was anyone else there. Many tracks to go & explore around the property to take in the wildlife & good fresh air of the bush. We'll be back for sure.
