Romantic Sleep Out Cabin
TranquilRetreat in Nature's Embrace
Lucy was an amazing host. Her site is tucked away amidst towering bamboos and surrounded by nature, this cabin was a perfect escape for us. It created a warm and inviting atmosphere, we loved lounging on the porch with a cup of coffee or exploring the nearby trails, every moment felt like a cherished adventure. We also loved the bamboo bush showers, we felt the nature embrace. Lucy explained to us that she runs the site completely off-grid so power can be limited especially on cloudy days. As we had so much fun swimming & mingling. Time slipped away and we had to shower late at night. However, it would have been helpful if we had been informed beforehand about the restricted shower times (this was understandable). However, the cabin double bed was semi-comfortable, it was making squeaking noises whenever one of us moved around the bed. It is not for the light sleepers. Lucy provided white robes hung inside the cabin but we were unsure if it had been washed as they were not in a clean state. While we valued our experience and the investment made for our stay, we hoped for a higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance at the premises. In comparison to The Hangout vs The Romantic Cabin - for the same price value, it would be nice if a kitchen sink was also available at the Romantic Cabin, rather than using Lucy’s personal bathroom sink (she was kind enough to share her bathroom area to us - located near our cabin. Thank you Lucy. We will be back at the unpowered site!

"Always talk to Strangers" - Lucy
How can I use something as simple as the English language to express my gratitude for finding this space and Lucy ♥️ The beautiful green landscaoe under my feet, the hydrating, cold yet refreshing water surrounding my body when I swam in the dam, the smell of campfires as night came, the freedom the explore & the wholesome chats with strangers made me feel as if I was 'home'. Thank you Lucy, for sharing your energy & space. See you soon ♥️♥️

Beautiful site with lush grass to put the tent on. Unfortunately it was not as relaxing as I expected due to the people playing loud music and kids kicking the ball near my tent that was giving me a headache. I was just unlucky with the people staying there at the time. It felt like trying to fall asleep in the middle of George street in Sydney. I understand that some people want to have fun when camping, bringing the city style to the country and I prefer the sounds of the nature.

Wouldn’t recommend.
It was a nice place and owner was lovely. But was WAY over booked, we went away from everyone lucky but it was so cramped up the top everyone was on top of each other. The toilets were not what I was expecting and really turned me off wanting to use them, if any wind came up when u put the sand stuff on top of you’re business it blows back at you 🤮 and you see everyone else’s business in the bucket 🤢 the toilet doors were to short and defiantly need extending as u can see everyone’s pants at there feet when someone is in there and then when they stand up and if ur waiting for the toilet you can make eye contact with said person in toilet 😬 The showers have a opened end facing the lake and when people go to the end of the lake swimming they can see you in the shower. one of the two shower sides have a shower curtin in it but isn’t much use as it blows onto you as you take a shower. Over all we did have a good time. But I wouldn’t come back. It is way to over priced for what you get. I was annoyed for how much we paid I’ve paid way less for much better amenities and less crowding when camping. 😊

Great camping spot
One of the best camp sites we've ever been to. Great dam for swimming, plenty of space, short drive to wonderful beaches. We'll definitely be back.
