Located just over an hour north of Coffs Harbour, in the beautiful Pillar Valley, we have a small campground on a billabong we welcome visitors to discover. we offer one site only, so the space is yours exclusively. We have fire pits available so campers can enjoy toasting marshmallows on a campfire, while admiring the stars. Campers are also welcome to kick back and relax in our hammock, or enjoy our tree swing! Campers will also have access to a bush drop toilet during their stay - it's nothing fancy, but it does the job! The camping area is spacious, grassy and level. And access is good for larger vehicles, including caravans and motorhomes. There are plenty of lovely walking trails around the property that you are welcome to explore. We are just an 18-minute drive through the beautiful Yuraygir National Park to Minnie Water where you can access some really pristine beaches. We are just over half an hour from Grafton, where you can enjoy cafes, explore the Clarence River and access the shops and get all the supplies you need. Pets are welcome but must be kept under your control at all times. We look forward to welcoming you to the Bush Billabong Camp.

Bush Billabong Camp

Bush Billabong looks beautiful and the country is lovely but there are so many march flies that it was impossible to to be there comfortably in the day and quite a few moseys at night. If you can find a way around this it is pleasant.

Bush Billabong Camp

Very quiet apart from the birds and a bit of road (gravel) noise. Clean and neat. Very rustic drop toilet (but clean). Next to small billabong. We could use the water for washing up. No internet or Wi-Fi.

Tranquil oasis between the trees

Beautiful beautiful stay. Troj has personally rehabilitated a huge area of cleared land and the campsite is situated right next to a wetland teeming with frogs and bird life. Troj welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond to provide us with shelter during the rain. He strung up an enormous tarp between the trees for us to set up our swag beneath, as the site was situated in a fairly open area. We feel very lucky to have chanced upon his listing and regret not having more time to explore the beautiful mahoganies and orchards beyond the campsite. Great spot for bush getaway! Essentially off grid. Good space with plenty of shade and sunshine. Check address with owner as maps can be off. No reception on site, but can find some up the road. Owner is very accomodating and welcoming.
