We had a warm welcome, and we especially liked the visit during the stay, from time to time by two very lovely and friendly dogs. Our dog did not feel intimidated at all.
There was plenty of open space and only a few neighbours at a distance. If you plan to be off-grid with a camper, giving some careful thought where you set up is essential, more so in autumn/winter.
I had a great time at Bunyip's camping celebrating my birthday with a group of friends. Lisa was warm and welcoming, as were her lovely dogs! Would definitely recommend this place to people wanting to get out of Sydney that isn't too far away!
This was our 3rd time staying with Lisa at Bunyips, so safe to say we are fans! Their awesome doggos will come and visit your campsite and it really adds to the trip. The one flushing toilet in the shed is a few mins walk away depending on where your set up is, it's simple but all you need when camping. We love staying here when we want to get out of Sydney for a few nights. You can be out of Sydney and fully set up within 2.5 hours. There were quite a few mozzies when we were there because of all the rain but they didn't seem to bite, just buzz around. Some coils and spray was all we needed to keep them at bay. Can't wait to come back again!
Great spot for a weekend escape.
Great spot. Exactly what we need to for a little getaway. Enough space that you can be private and enjoy a fire and a chill. Thank you, Lisa, we'll be back for sure.
Easy, quiet, accessible and no fuss
Had a great time. Nice setting with very basic facilities. One of the dogs (Brown Paws) stayed with us for the whole weekend including sleeping in our camper annex. Made itself right at home and was well behaved, even better than our own guests.
