Description

If you’re looking for some history to add to your outdoor adventure, Sumner Lake State Park was once the whereabouts of the famous frontier outlaw, Billy the Kid. This is the place where he gave his last hoorah. Aside from providing some epic history of the American West, East Side Campground is a great site with a lot of space and access to the reservoir. Just be sure to bring some whiskey for the campfire in remembrance of the kid.
