The cabin is solar powered so there is electricity, water, and gas for the provided heater. the water source is a 275 gallon tank which is filled up prior to your stay. Due to efforts for keeping the rental price down an extra 275 gallon fill up can be purchased in the extras tab at the time of booking. A camper and or tent are allowed with your stay at the cabin. All roads on the ranch lead to the cabin so exploring the 355 acre ranch is a blast.

Property was beautiful. Loved the solitude. Unfortunately the solar did not work so the experience was a wooden tent in a beautiful location. Glad we had all our camping gear. Needed to make extra trips to town for ice. Site would benefit from a good trash pick up.
We had a great time staying at the cabin. Very comfortable and the views are amazing. We were lucky to have the property to ourselves, so plenty of peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again.
Perfect spot for an overnight stop for two girls and their dogs! Wish we could have stayed a little longer. Plenty of space for a larger group! Definitely more on the campy side, so make sure to bring a few typical camping items (aside from a tent of course). The drive in was windy in a very fun way. We even saw deer on the way in and on the way out!
Know before you go
This is a wonderful site as long as you know exactly what you’re going into. I found the descriptions a bit misleading but that may have been my own incorrect perception. Think of this as a step above tent camping. It’s still going to be covered in dirt and dust but you’re in a sheltered building with a flushing toilet and running water. If you want electricity, pay the extra money for the generator. The solar power can barely charge a cell phone. You have practically zero reception for a cell phone but if you use it as a camera to take photos of memories the solar power will charge one phone. It wasn’t even enough to run a small coffee maker that’s included in the house. One of our campers had a generator and was able to connect it and we had full power which was wonderful. There’s no hot water but there is a propane heater in the house that does a really decent job of heating it up if it’s needed. We didn’t take a ton of showers in the 3 1/2 days that we were there but the one large tank of water was enough for our dishes, two showers, washing hands, brushing teeth, with some left over. There is no on-site trash receptacles so be prepared to pack it out. The creek is a decent hike but there’s also a road that you can drive directly down to where the zip line is. It is tons of fun! When we were there the deepest point was only about 4 feet which was perfect for the kids to jump in from the zip line and there’s plenty of shallow spots for a little kids.
We absolutely would love to stay here again! It’s a beautiful area, the creek is tons of fun, the little house is perfect as long as you don’t mind being a bit dirty. This is definitely not the Hilton but if you’re used to tent camping it may as well be.
Stunning, peaceful property with 360° views and much to explore. We’ll be back. Did our best to pick up after previous “guest”… however we can all do better, leave it better then you found it.
We had planned to tent camp at this location, but storms forced us to book the cabin last minute. Robert was accommodating with a quick response the day of. The property is beautiful and spacious! It was quiet and a great place to explore! We think we would have loved tent camping here! Unfortunately the cabin itself had a dirty bathroom, only cold water in the sink and shower, and had quite a bit of trash around it. The kitchen was supplied well enough for one night, the bedroom and dining area worked well, and the fire pit and chairs were a nice touch. It even had a heater inside! We didn’t use it, but we did use the electric stove provided, so that was nice for cooking.
AMAZING cabin, beautiful property, caring family of owners, and when it says instant book they really mean instant.
We had a last minute change in camping plans and this was better then I could have asked for!
