THIS IS NOT JUST A CAMPSITE! YOU GET THE WHOLE PRIVATE CAMPGROUND!

Gypsy Fire Valley is a privately owned piece of heaven on the Pecos River. Guests have an array of terrain to enjoy throughout the 1.5 acre camp ground. There's open valley space, river and forest space all in one spot. Guests will enjoy lounging on the private beach, disc golf, watching the wildlife, a hammock swing under the cottonwood trees, campfires, taking in the views and sleeping under the stars.

Here at GFV, guests have use of several great amenities.  There's a netted beach-side tent for dining and games, a clubhouse for gameplay and personal use, an indoor bathroom, a private store to use and keep a tab during their stay, and much much more is currently being added!  The more we grow, the more we add.

THIS IS THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR LARGE FAMILY GATHERINGS AND PRIVATE EVENTS!  LET US HELP YOU CREATE THE PERFECT CELEBRATION!

In addition to the campground, GFV is also home to several rescue pups. Each member of our pack is brought in one at a time, made to feel safe and loved, and promised a forever home here on the ranch.  They are most definitely living their best life out here!   We also assist with short-term fostering and rehoming of local pups.

..Have an amazing camping experience while giving to these incredible pups at the same time. Beginning September of 2021, 100% of all snack shop proceeds and additional donations will be dedicated to these very special dogs and making their world that much better!

Guests of GFV have described it as "magical", "breathtaking" and "incredibly healing". You'll never want to leave!

Hope to welcome you soon!

Cheers ~ From the Gypsy in the Valley

We had SO much fun! We stayed for 4 nights. Alix was nothing but accommodating the entire time. She cooked the best breakfast burrito I think I’ve ever eaten, she had snacks and a Keurig for coffee/tea already neatly set out. The clubhouse was absolutely stunning. She has an original painting of a beautiful mountain range right as you walk in. I couldn’t stop staring at it! We camped right on the beach next to the river. The daytime was pretty hot on the beach so we moved to the field during the day for horse shoes, disc gold, and corn hole. All provided by Alix of course. The campfire was kept strong by the wood provided by Alix too! I can not put in to words how much fun my family had during the weekend. Alix was the best host we could as for. We will be back again and again and again!

What a magical experience we had at Gypsy Valley! It went beyond our expectations. Alix welcomed is warmly and showed us around. There are a few spots set up that we had all to ourselves but we naturally chose the one right by the Pecos river. Falling asleep to the sound of the river and nature was pure Bliss. Dan fished while I read and meditated and it felt so rejuvenating. The water was surprisingly ok temperature wise and we dipped in after a hike in Villanueva. The club house has essentials you can buy as well as games and Alix made delicious breakfast burritos. When we left, she have us some of her produce too. We can not wait to go back, it was incredible!

Camping under the stars to the sound of the water, doesn't get any better Love the red sand, feels great on feet. Lived having this all to ourselves!Stunning Pecos river hike a few miles up at Villanueva state oarkA couple of fish bit!

Our group of 7 families and 5 dogs had a great time camping here. Alix is a wonderful host and the game room, indoor bathroom, and option of breakfast burritos was a great plus. The river space is beautiful, and we enjoyed soaking in it.

This was definitely the biggest group so far! And I was so pleased and happy with everything about your group. So many kids and they were beyond respectful. Thank you to your entire group for showing me hands on what this place is capable of. And I'm so glad you had a great time. Take care and I hope to see you back soon.

This campground was wonderful from the very moment we arrived. Alix, the camp host was incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home.

This location is a little piece of heaven. It is right along the river and made the whole stay very peaceful. I would rate Gypsy Fire Valley a 10/10.

Alix is an amazing host on a truly enchanted land. She is available and respectful. The land feels sacred on the beautiful setting of the Pecos River. Bring water and a solar shower if you need to shower. The description and pics were accurate. My son is convinced we had an encounter with a Sasquatch. May you be so blessed too. :) Thank you, Alix.

Thank you so much Wendy. I do wish you and your boys a safe and healing journey. Take care and if you have any pictures from your stay, I would love to see them on our facebook page. P.S. I hope he believes in sasquatch for the rest of his days. :)

Gypsy Fire Valley is a gorgeous gem of green and clean vibrant land right along the Pecos River. I actually joined Hipcamp initially to find beautiful and private spots near water. At Gypsy Fire Valley I camped literally a few feet from the running water lulling me in my sleep. I enjoyed my camp so much! I built a fire in the deep fire pit, walked along the mowed green grass and ate my meals under the cool shade at the picnic table under the tree. Alix is a joy to meet and it is clear she takes care of her spot of heaven on Earth. Enjoy!
