I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Las Sabinas! Andrea was a great host and responded to my questions promptly. She gave good directions and the sites truly are very ‘accessible’. They allow generators which clenched my reservation. There’s plenty of room and privacy. The views are awesome. I had horses and having her horses free range around my RV was wonderful. It brought back many memories.
Good hosts, privacy, beautiful views, sunrises and sunsets, and…horses? Who wouldn’t recommend this place!. It was a very peaceful stay.
Quintessential new mexico
Very pretty spot, very quintessential New Mexico mesa views all around. Highly recommend driving the nearby stretch of highway 3 south of the ranch, it's like being transported into another world! My pup and I highly enjoyed our night. The only critique which would be (out of the host's control) that dogs were barking into 1 or 2 am which limited my sleep. But, waking up with such a pretty view at sunrise was worth it!
Great property! Andrea was very responsive and provided us with detailed instruction on how to get settled, as we were arriving late in the evening. Plenty of space on the farm and did not see anyone - only a lone coyote! We’ll definitely be back, if we are in the area :)
Great location and beautiful spot
The campsite was beautiful, with great views of the Rowe Mesa at sunset. My spot was nice and level, and the whole vibe was peaceful. Andrea was a nice host. Even though she made sure to respect my privacy she also was attentive with respect to directions (no worries, it’s easy to find) and checked on me after a little wind storm. That was really nice of them. The campsite is a perfect distance from Pecos National Historic Park for those traveling to there.
Peaceful and quiet spot
Andrea gave excellent directions to get to her property, which is great since our navigation wanted us to stop a mile or two south of her gate. She was quick to respond to messages and helpful with directions. We arrived in the dark so it was a bit of a challenge to figure out a space. but we were able to find a flat spot without too much work.
I totally enjoyed my stay at Andrea's place. The camp area is open but private. I tent camped and had no trouble with goatheads in January, but picked up a tarp at Big Lots just in case. The surrounding area is remote and fascinating--took a couple hikes through some deep arroyos just a few miles away. Also did an enjoyable hike through the ranch to the bluffs overlooking the Pecos River. I will definitely be back, there is so much to explore here!
