Description

This popular campground is simply gorgeous, with massive trees that provide plenty of shade, and a wonderful setting in the midst of the White Mountains. Thanks to the pine needles, the ground is nice and soft, too. The Ammonoosuc River runs right next to the picnic area across from the campground—it’s the perfect place for a leisurely snack or meal. While you’re here look out for moose! They’re common in the area, so keep your eyes peeled.
