Ok, so if you are here, you are interested in backpacking in the WMNF. Hurrah, that is one of best uses of your time imaginable. Now, go and buy the AMC WMNF Guide, and visit sectionhiker.com. Way better, more accurate info than here, plus great suggested trips and hikes. I have camped here, and for example, there is room for several tents, there is no picnic table, the roof leaks on the right side of shelter, and yeah, good luck getting your horse here.
