Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

I highly recommend Sweet Song Acres. Having the sound of the flowing water was great. Having an outhouse, stocked with the necessary supplies, was a great touch. Tina was attentive and suggested great places to check out.

Sweet Song Acres is a magical place and my girlfriend and I had an amazing time relaxing and exploring the property. Tina and Chiefy are very gracious hosts and we are grateful to have been able to spend a few nights by the river. We had Site #1 which is very spacious and serene. Site #2 looked just as wonderful. Both are at the base of a large hill with some beautiful views at the end of a fairly steep, but brief hike upwards. Definitely worth checking out. I highly recommend staying at Sweet Song Acres.

We had a great tine at Sweet Song Acres. The site was great - flat, private (there is a country road just on the other side of the creek but it did t bother us at all)., and right alongside a beautiful creek. The outhouse was out of sight of the campground and was. Dry clean. Chiefy and Tina were great hosts. They left potable water and firewood at the site,, and gave us some great hiking and swimming tips. Seed definitely recommend this site for anyone looking for a great car camping experience.

Incredible location, would absolutely go back. Chiefy and Tina are great hosts. There is absolutely no service at the site which was a huge added bonus for our group. The compost toilet was extremely clean. Highly recommend checking out the waterfall/swimming spot!
