We had such a wonderful stay at the bradmoore farm! It was so cozy and accommodating and Rebecca was super chill and easy to deal with. There’s plenty of perfect flat spots all along the river for tents and a huge overhang/shelter with electricity picnic tables and chairs incase of rain. It was beautiful, private and picturesque. Ontop of all of that the quaint town of Dover is just 6 minutes away!!! We would definitely recommend this camp site. And plan to hopefully return here next year!
Peace & quiet, lovely view!
We are so happy we stayed at Rebecca's farm! Riverside Camp is the perfect description because a beautiful tidal river is part of your view at the site. We parked our 20' RV next to the hay barn. A very nice covered space with a picnic table & electricity were provided. It was so peaceful & quiet - absolutely lovely. Do pay a visit to the farm store for fresh produce, eggs & meats! Thank you, Rebecca!
Great time visiting pigs and cows!
Such a cute camping spot- flat grassy area next to an open covered barn with a picnic table. It rained so it was so nice to have that! We got to visit the pigs and cows, so cute!!! Fair warning- the bathroom was a farm utility closet with a toilet in it. Overall great experience!
Serene farm, perfect for our stay
Riverside Camp was lovely! The best parts were being able to set up camp easily in the dark after having arrived later in the evening, as well as the fresh produce in the self serve farm mart. Since it was accessible at any time, we were able to go and pick up food for breakfast and pay through our phones. The barn/shed area also had plugs to charge our devices since we were on a bikepacking trip. Even though the farm doesn't have a shower, we were able to use the hose to rinse off, which felt great after a long day of riding. The area is beautiful, the cows were a joy to see, and it was great to be able to experience it!
Comfortable and convenient camping
Host is very friendly. The campsite by the river is peaceful and convenient. We had the option to pull our car right up to the campsite to unload gear. It was raining so we set up tent under the large covered area which was great, we stayed dry. There is picnic table under the covered area that we prepared and ate our meals on. We were able to plug in our electric water kettle at the campsite and make pasta for our two young kids. Farm stand had fresh tomatoes, veggies, farm-made cheese and sausage which made a good snack/meal for us. Also had the option to drive about 10 minutes to find multiple good restaurants. Late morning we saw a parade of cows pass by. If you walk up the path to another large barn, there is very rudimentary bathroom with flushing toilet, toilet paper, and small sink with running water (hot and cold water!). For a camping trip, I consider that to be a luxury even if my kids found the bathroom to be slightly scary. Overall, it was a great experience.
Shelter from the rain
Great place to camp during a drenching all night rainstorm—we were able to pitch our tents and have a picnic table under a large covered area. Great cheese in the farm store! Nice views of the river. Heads up: If you’re picky about bathroom conditions or proximity this might not be the place for you.
Stop over spot
It was late when we arrived and a bit nerve-wracking to make sure we made contact with the host before arrival. The area for our tent was nice and right by the river. There is a covered area with a picnic table and shelf and lighting which was a nice plus if we were staying longer. My only complaint was that the bathroom was super dirty. If you are on your way somewhere you can’t beat this stopover though. It’s a great price and very convenient.
Secluded and picturesque, Brandmoore Farm's campsite is tucked behind a barn by the river. There is an overhang with picnic table and fairy lights, perfect for getting out of the sun or if it rains. Thanks for a great stay!
