Thanks to our farm’s extensive perennial food system, Nourish has a rotating seasonal menu featuring fruit, herbs, and wild greens grown onsite. Call ahead for up-to-date details on hours and what’s in bloom! HBC is a retreat destination for mountain biking, skiing, and hiking, with private access to Green Woodland’s 23,000 acres of public trails next door! Our trails feature hand and machine-built features for riders of all skill levels. Under an hour of driving will get you to Mt. Tiny House (Apple) at Hummingbird
We loved our stay at “Apple” despite the unforeseen snow, the wood stove carried us through the night in a warm embrace. The property was gorgeous with full access to potable water, easily accessible bathrooms, and a welcoming vibe from everyone there!

Red Bus @ Hummingbird Center
Red Bus Camping
Like tent camping but in a refurbished school bus! The red bus is closer to the house & has a table. The other bus is in a quieter location, larger, no table but w an old but functional wood stove. Neither bus moves or has water. For the adventurous soul.

Lovely overnight stay
Catherine was professional and responsive. Our campsite nestled in the woods was cozy. We met a nice couple at the community fire pit and had a nice conversation. My husband needed to do some schoolwork/complete a quiz and we were allowed to hang out in the cozy library. While my husband did his work I curled up on a cushion in the corner of the library and read a book about women who taught about homesteading. The next morning we made coffee at our campsite and then walked around the gardens. My husband took a photo of me standing under the "unstable" sign. The staff all seem to be friendly and hard workers. The Hummingbird Center has a lot of potential and they all seem to be working for a good cause by educating people about permaculture. They also might be hosting conferences at some time in the future, such as yoga retreats, etc. Overall, we had a lovely overnight stay and a positive experience.
