Hi, we're Paul and Angela - thanks for your interest in camping here at Arándano Farm! We're originally city folks who decided to change our lives and move out to the country. We hope that by sharing our farm, we can give you a glimpse into a lifestyle that is more healthy and sustainable for us and the planet. Our goal is to offer something different than the traditional camping experience. In short, that includes more space and privacy along with the ability to visit our animals, take a farm tour, and purchase our home-grown organic products. This is a place to come for quiet and relaxation, not to make noise and party. We hope you'll enjoy it!

Hidden Pond Campsite is a secluded, family-size campsite that sits on a quiet, 6 acre corner of our farm and features a small pond (not suitable for swimming), babbling brook, and amenities such as a picnic table, and a private outhouse with a composting toilet and a luxurious heated shower. You'll feel the temperature drop 10 degrees on the short (less than 1 minute) walk from the parking area into this spacious and open, yet cool and shaded area. While there are no guarantees, we've spotted fish, turtles, great blue herons, ducks, kingfishers,  muskrats and even otters in the pond, and a deer sighting in the woods is a definite possibility. For guaranteed animal sightings that your kids will love, book a tour to see our chickens, geese, ducks, sheep and pigs. This site has plenty of room for 6-8 people in two large tents or several smaller tents, and plenty of trees to hang your hammocks from. This is a site you'll want to spend some time enjoying!

COVID-safe camping. Each of our campsites is surrounded by acres of woods or fields with no other campers nearby. Not only that, but there are no shared facilities - you will be the only ones using your water supply, outhouse and shower (if included with your site). Please let us know if you prefer to have an "online" check-in, instead of the standard meet and greet where social distancing and/or masks can be used based on your preference.

We really enjoyed the site. The area was flat and well cleared. The gas powered shower was toasty hot and had very good pressure. The composting toilet facility was clean and did not make any smells. Beautiful birch and pine trees all around. It was clear that this site was not just thrown together. Someone put a lot of thought and effort into making this a great place to camp!

What a great campsite! Paul and Angela’s place provides the perfect escape to chill and enjoy the beautiful New Hampshire nature. The camp set-up provided us with everything we needed to make our camping experience great! They were very communicative and had a great stand at the farmers market with some awesome baked goods that you wouldn’t even know are gluten free! We would definitely recommend this stay to anyone.

Very cute campground. Nestled between a brook and a pond. Host was very friendly and helpful. The sound of the water in the brook was very peaceful. It was easy to find. Would definitely recommend!

The campsite was great! Very secluded / private, very pretty little pond and brook right next to the site. The hot shower also worked great - which is a nice treat after a day of hiking or other activities :)

Only downside is that you can hear some vehicle noise from Rt 140.

Great scenic campsite tucked away from surrounding neighbors. Feels much more private than a map view of neighborhood would suggest. Perfect for a basecamp while dayhiking in area. There is traffic noise from the nearby road, but it may have been more active due to holiday weekend. Paul was an excellent host. Stargazing by the field was spectacular.

Thanks for the review, D. Just to clarify the potential for "road noise" for future guests, the site is a wooded 1/2 mile from route 106. Route 140 is a bit closer as the crow flies, but is on the other side of a very large hill and through dense forest. Any sound from the roads will usually be minimal and never loud or distracting.

Nice, secluded little spot with an accommodating host. Close to town, but tucked away enough to feel isolated. Shower set up is pretty clever and works well.

The Hidden Pond Campsite was one of the most beautiful spots we've ever camped. The site is huge - it easily fit two large tents and two screenhouses. Two 3-person families shared this site, and it felt very spacious. Access to a hot shower was so nice! It's far enough from the other sites so it felt private. You really feel like you're in the woods, listening to the birds, etc. So beautiful. The site is next to a pond, and we saw a blue heron hunting for food. We heard the gentle sound of a brook flowing out of the pond. Bring plenty of bug spray and wear long sleeves and pants on some days to prevent bug bites, though. We love Angela and Paul- they're the best hosts! When a zipper for their screenhouse broke, Paul came immediately to fix it, and also promptly refilled the water tank. It was cute to see their free range chickens visit the campsite as they took walks in the woods. : ) Definitely do the farm tour: you'll see that they really care about taking good care of their animals and giving them the best life they could have. We visited the Bartlett Beach, which is a nice beach within 15 min from the campsite. It had a small playground and a bathroom, and it was a perfect place for families. Our friends camped at the other two sites, so we all got together around the campfire at our campsite at night, and it was so nice to be able to do that. We invited Paul and Angela to join us for dinner at the campsite, and it was so nice to chat with them and catch up (they're old friends of ours). Definitely check out this site- it's really a great deal, and you won't be disappointed.
